Please take a moment to get to know our organization by reviewing the “Welcome” article. We encourage everyone to become a formal member of Team UBG Cycling by paying the $20 annual membership dues (per calendar year). For cash, Zelle, or check payment options please contact us.

Dues are NOT required to ride with us.

*The insurance is provided through the League of American Bicyclists. Please note: their policy excludes coverage for losses involving Class 2 electric bicycles.

Team UBG Cycling has something for every type of cyclist—from casual riders to racers. We ride on roads throughout the greater Houston area, and everywhere in between. You’ll find us exploring the Greater Houston area and on cycling adventures across Texas and beyond. We’re proud to be one of the top Friends & Family teams for Bike MS! Our MS150 riders have collectively raised over $2,000,000 in lifetime donations for the MS Society!

Team UBG Cycling welcomes riders of all levels and styles. You don’t need fancy gear—just a friendly attitude and a willingness to learn. For group rides, you should be able to maintain a rolling average of ~17 mph (varies by wind, group, etc.) for at least 20 miles with breaks.

Free training plans, app recommendations, and gear advice are available online, or just ask—we’re happy to help. We were all beginners once.

Many club activities are open to everyone, including our weekly Saturday & Sunday morning shop rides our of Urban Bicycle Gallery — guests are always welcome! But membership comes with perks!
